IT Support Specialist : Houston

Provide Application and User Support for a rapidly growing company, across a variety of new projects. You will be focused on end-to-end IT support for all Houston based departments. This position will be the IT point of contact for the office to resolve daily technology issues as well as provide support to project implementation using in-house or vendor applications.

Position Functions

  • Business-as-usual support, including WWM in-house and vendor applications.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new staff, both hardware/software requirements and appropriate permissions dictated by Dept Management.
  • Troubleshooting day-to-day issues as they arise, performing triage/issue prioritization.
  • Ensuring Houston business functions are exposed to minimal downtime.

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science or information technology or at least 5 years’ experience in the field.
  • Extensive experience in a support role in a related industry.
  • Knowledge of office networking and office hardware support.
  • Ensuring optimal system functionality and performance.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and ability to troubleshoot issues and propose automation enhancements.

Office Coordinator : Houston

As the first point of contact for our Houston Office, this position will represent the company, build internal and external relationships with various stakeholders, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the office. Selected candidate must have a friendly, positive attitude and demonstrates a professional, respectful, and team-player approach in everyday tasks and interactions.

Position Functions

  • Answer and direct phone calls as well as sort and distribute mail

Accounting Manager : Austin | Houston

This position will be a member of the WhiteWater accounting department in Austin or Houston. Responsibilities include preparation of accounting transactions associated with full cycle general ledger accounting, cost allocation, monthly equity method investment activity, revenue, debt/interest rate swaps, fixed assets, leases, direct and overhead billing, and coordinator for property and sales/use. Position will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Position Functions

  • Setup, monitor and account for reimbursable construction projects
  • Work closely with operations and engineering to properly capture changes to contracts, payments terms (cash flow analysis) and underlying asset/construction plans

This position will be considered remote once training onsite in Austin is complete, but residing in Austin or Houston is preferred to enable occasional time in the office, as needed.

Position Functions

  • Nominate and confirm on interstate and intrastate pipelines for the receipt and delivery of natural gas and ensure accuracy of confirmed quantities within QPTM.
  • Proactively calculate imbalances both for shippers and OBA interconnections and make best efforts to minimize when possible
  • Familiarity with EBB’s of major interstate and intrastate pipelines as it relates to scheduling, confirming gas and reporting functions.
  • Regularly communicate with all shippers to verify nominations and contract information.

Senior SCADA Developer : Austin | Houston

The SCADA Developer provides controls and communications technical support for the Pipeline SCADA system. Responsible for programming and maintaining Schneider Electric Geo SCADA HMI, and the communications between various pipeline RTU and PLC control systems. The role supports troubleshooting and improvement requests from Pipeline Operations and Controllers, and interfaces with Engineering teams to design and commission pipeline asset expansion.

Position Functions

  • Configures, programs, and maintains Schneider Electric Geo SCADA and AutoSol (ACM) software including SCADA system databases, alarming and control strategies.
  • Builds and supports SCADA HMI screens according to Control Room Management guidelines and HMI Style Guide.
  • Provides program maintenance support for SCADA host application software.
  • Interfaces with engineering and construction to setup and configure new devices according to P&IDs and electrical and network drawings.
  • Collaborates with operations personnel for startup of new facilities ensuring the necessary communications to deliver a successful transition and seamless customer experience.

Measurement Analyst : Austin | Houston

This position will provide technical support to the Operations team on measurement data related activities, including performing analysis on measurement data and troubleshooting erroneous measurement data to assess measurement quality and ensure the accurate measurement of natural gas in the pipeline system.

Position Functions

  • Develop, interpret, maintain and apply documented measurement data reconciliation policies and procedures
  • Analyze measurement data for errors and reconcile incomplete, invalid, or incorrect data for settlement purposes
  • Monitor gas volumes for system imbalances and work with the team to proactively resolve gain/loss discrepancies
  • Set up new meters in the Flowcal measurement application, generate reports to evaluate the accuracy of data. Perform the necessary volume adjustments according to contract terms
  • Analyze and maintain all measurement data related to meter performance, flow computer base data, etc.
  • Document all work performed including system configuration adjustments and data edits
  • Serve as the audit and check for monthly close of measurement data with responsibility for measurement accuracy.

Senior Systems Specialist : Austin | Houston

This position is an office-based position in Austin or Houston, TX and will be a member of the WhiteWater Commercial Operations team. Responsibilities include managing all Quorum systems and related projects, defining and implementing standard business processes, building and managing cross-functional integrations, and supporting the scheduling team in their daily activities.

Position Functions

  • Support pipeline operations and scheduling by leveraging existing systems functionality and available data.
  • Diagnose issues with the myQuorum Pipeline functionality and custom reporting tools.
  • Assist with myQuorum admin functions, I.e. Configuration, security, etc
  • Gather requirements for enhancements or new features from the business.
  • Liaise with vendor partners to design, test, and implement business process changes and resolve issues.
  • Understand WhiteWater operations and leverage that knowledge to identify process inefficiencies where an IT solution or process change may be appropriate.
  • Oversee all system upgrade and enhancement efforts.
  • Support Operations team during periods of acceptance testing.
  • Document solutions appropriately.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Build and manage integrations with other Whitewater systems across multiple departments


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of Quorum Transportation experience.
  • Previous experience managing a commercial or scheduling team and/or implementing a new transportation solution.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Excellent problem solving, time management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Previous experience building SQL queries to access myQuorum data efficiently and accurately.
  • Communication and Teamwork skills required: Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with others to optimize team success
