Business Analyst (Operations) : Austin | Houston

Job Summary

This position is a full-time, office-based position in Austin or Houston, TX and will be a member of the WhiteWater Commercial Operations team. Responsibilities include developing data visuals and models, analyzing business performance tracking, and designing and developing data analytics pipelines.

Position Functions

  • Develop data driven visuals and models to facilitate business performance tracking.
  • Work closely with various WhiteWater departments to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Leverage in-depth understanding of WhiteWater Operations to answer strategic business questions.
  • Hold requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders
  • Execute projects in a meticulous and timely manner
  • Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Design and prototype data analytics pipelines that effectively summarize data for identification of trends and correlations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area with 2 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of Midstream industry experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Quorum products preferred
  • Working knowledge of: Excel VBA, Python, SQL, Transact/SQL
  • High proficiency in MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workflow and Business Procedures
  • Excellent problem solving, time management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Communication and Teamwork skills required: Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with others to optimize team success
